Early UI concepts
As promised, I like work transparently, and these were too exciting not to share. We’re working with Manchester designer Loz Ives on some of the user interface elements that are going to weave through Closed Hand’s text based narrative. He’s begun to really experiment with the layouts, keeping things simple and clean enough to be usable, and flexible enough that we can use the layouts for wildly different characters and scenarios. He’s also begun to work up typography and look-and-feel around the general game name and UI, which is early days but quite exciting to play around with as we’re writing behind the scenes.
Obviously all of this is subject to a lot of noodling, we’re very early stage, but here’s a few images to peek at… (click to expand!)
